Worship spaces, schools, and non-profit facilities. Renovated and built by a team that phases the work around services, programs, and the people who depend on them.
Churches, schools, and non-profits build differently than commercial tenants. Budgets answer to boards and congregations, the building often can't close during construction, and assembly spaces carry code requirements — occupancy loads, egress, accessibility — that everyday commercial work never touches. We build institutional projects with the phasing, communication, and cost discipline these organizations require. And for churches, this is more than a market for us: we are a Christian organization under Christ's Lordship, with a genuine passion for building God's house.
Renovation and construction across worship, education, and community spaces.
At Redemption Hills Church in Littleton, we renovated the worship space into a modern, acoustically-tuned environment built for weekly services, live music, and community events. The scope centered on stage construction with structural reinforcement for a live worship band, acoustic paneling, a theatrical and ambient lighting redesign, electrical upgrades for AV and sound, a renovated lobby, ADA-compliant bathroom rebuilds, and new flooring. The congregation kept meeting the entire time. And the work earned the relationship: Redemption Hills is working with us again today, in consulting and conceptual planning for the conversion of a movie theater into their next church home.
A church cannot skip Sunday, and a school cannot skip Monday. Institutional work gets phased around the calendar that matters: disruptive scopes run midweek or after hours, work areas are isolated with dust and noise containment, and the path from parking lot to pew stays safe and clear. We plan the phasing with your leadership before construction starts, so the people who use the building are never surprised by it.
Institutional budgets are approved by boards, building committees, and congregations — and often funded by donations or grants. That demands a number that holds. We define scope and cost up front, flag allowances and unknowns honestly, and communicate changes with the documentation a committee needs to make decisions quickly. Where funding phases dictate the schedule, we structure the work into phases that each stand on their own.
Yes. Phasing around an active congregation is standard for our institutional work. Disruptive scopes are scheduled midweek or after hours, work zones are isolated with dust and noise containment, and the spaces you need each week stay safe and accessible. Our Redemption Hills Church renovation in Littleton ran this way — the congregation kept meeting through the entire project.
It depends heavily on scope. A finishes-focused refresh sits at the low end, while a full sanctuary renovation with stage construction, acoustics, lighting, and AV infrastructure is a substantially larger investment, and structural or MEP upgrades add to it. Rather than quote a generic range, we define your scope and produce a real budget your board can act on — before construction commits you to anything.
Yes, and we structure our communication for them: clear scope documents, honest allowances, written change documentation, and updates a committee can review and approve without a construction background. When funding arrives in phases, we can structure the project into phases that each deliver a usable result.
Worship spaces are assembly occupancies, which brings requirements most commercial tenants never see: occupancy-load limits, egress capacity and exit placement, accessible seating and routes, and fire-safety provisions sized for large gatherings. Renovations can also trigger accessibility upgrades to restrooms and entries. We plan these requirements into the design and permit path from day one.
Yes. At Redemption Hills Church we built the stage with structural reinforcement for a live worship band, installed acoustic paneling throughout the main hall, redesigned the lighting with theatrical and ambient systems, and upgraded the electrical for AV and sound. We coordinate directly with your AV integrator so the infrastructure is right before the finishes go on.
